Hutto ISD today announced Eli Reinhart, Dave Campbell’s Texas Football Offensive Coordinator of the Year in 2024, as its new head varsity football coach. Reinhart’s offensive leadership helped North Crowley to a 50-21 win over Austin Westlake in the UIL 6A D1 state championship game in December.

Hutto ISD is proud to announce its selection as a CTE District of Distinction by the Career and Technical Association of Texas (CTAT). This esteemed recognition celebrates districts across Texas that demonstrate exemplary leadership, innovation, and commitment to student success through high-quality Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs.

Compton was named Head Football Coach at Hutto High School in 2022 and will begin serving as Athletic Director on January 14.   

The Hutto ISD Board of Trustees approved on Thursday several upgrades to recess and playground areas across each of the District’s seven elementary school campuses. In addition to the new artificial turf, a new playground will be installed at Nadine Johnson Elementary School (NJES). The playground was designed through feedback from current NJES students and includes age appropriate elements along with inclusive access.

Understanding the profound impact of untreated mental health conditions, Hutto ISD takes an innovative step forward by partnering with Care Solace, a social purpose organization, to make access to mental health care easier than ever before. This transformative collaboration prioritizes mental and physical well-being for the entire Hippo Nation community and provides easy access to a comprehensive network of providers and resources.

For the ninth year in a row, Hutto ISD has received an “A” rating for “Superior Achievement” from the Texas Education Agency’s Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST). The rating system measures the quality of school district financial management and reporting systems.
