RHA Bell Schedule
RHA's Master Schedule is designed around our collective students' needs at any given time throughout the year; therefore, RHA's schedule evolves as students graduate and new students move into the vacant spots at RHA. The schedule facilitates core courses for sophomores, juniors, and seniors for the majority of the year, but will focus mainly on senior courses towards the end of the year when the majority of our students are close to graduation. Students can be assigned to two types of core classes: 1) a content specific class like College Prep Math in which students are collectively engaged and invested to pass the course; or 2) a flex period in which students at any level of a core subject can attend and work individually with the support of the teacher. This flexibility allows RHA teachers to meet the needs of many students at various places in the pursuit of their diploma. The schedule also has space for embedded EOC intervention classes. Students who have not passed their EOC exams (STAAR tests) will be assigned to these classes. In addition to all the above support, our master schedule also has room for students to be enrolled in Study Hall. This is similar to Content Mastery on a traditional campus, but is a place in the building, and on the schedule, which allows students who don't need classroom support to work individually and at their own pace free of teacher instruction. Whether students need "hands on" instruction or "hands free" instruction, RHA's Master Schedule facilitates learning for all!
